About the event
The district will proudly participate in the annual Austin Pride Parade, Saturday, August 23 at 8 p.m., in downtown Austin. We extend an open invitation to our students, families and staff to join in the celebrations, providing a visible demonstration of Austin ISD's unwavering commitment to creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all.
Free Shuttle:
We have three shuttle site options for families. Please arrive by 6 p.m. to ensure a seat on the bus, as space is limited. Buses will depart at 6 p.m. If you ride the bus to the parade, you are expected to ride the bus back. Note: All students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ride the shuttle bus.
