ACPTA membership is open to all Austin ISD campus PTAs. Our Board and Committees consist of local leaders with a shared mission to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Council Membership
Your investment in the Austin Council of PTAs each year allows ACPTA to host important local PTA training events, programs, host a district-level Arts Reflection contest, and more.

Per Council Bylaws, regular meetings of the Austin Council of PTAs are open to the members of all local PTAs and PTSAs holding membership in the Council PTA.

Your membership dues to join the Austin Council of PTAs are $50 annually and are fiscal year based. Our fiscal year begins July 1. Council membership dues are due by the first delegate meeting of the year and will cover the annual fiscal year within which the dues are paid.

Board
ACPTA has an executive board elected by delegates from AISD PTAs. The executive board works to fulfill the duties of ACPTA which include strengthening local PTAs, developing leadership potential, promoting PTA membership, and advancing the goals, programs, and initiatives of National and Texas PTAs.
Committees
ACPTA Committees offer local leaders an opportunity to serve as a part of a team with a focus on specific PTA issues, events, and efforts that impact the Austin community.
