Austin ISD can no longer participate in the Austin Pride Parade since the passage of SB 12 during the last legislative session, which prohibits diversity, equity, and inclusion in K-12 education.

So come join Austin Council of PTAs to show a strong public schools presence in our city's Pride Parade, August 22! RSVP so we can be in touch with details about meet-up spots and other details.

The parade starts at 8, but it will still be hot, so bring your water, your hat, and an instrument or noisemaker. Wear your finest tie-dye! 🌈 Can't wait to see you out there to celebrate our community!
