The 12/11 meeting covered academic progress at middle schools currently under TAPs (Burnet, Webb, and Dobie), adjustments to the district scorecard, and the college, career, and military destinations of the 2023 AISD graduates.

The board voted to approve the closures of 10 schools, multiple program changes affecting dual-language and Montessori instruction, and state-mandated Turnaround Plans for 24 campuses.
