Compared to the hours-long information session on Aug. 14, the public portion of this voting meeting passed in a flash -- less than 45 minutes. The board approved several policy changes, including discipline measures for the new cell phone policy, and a new agreement with Education Austin that incorporates recent teacher raises mandated by the state.
